Job summary

Withum seeks a Financial Services Audit Supervisor to lead audit engagements from planning to completion across multiple offices, including Orlando and Boca Raton. You will mentor staff, manage engagement budgets, and ensure high-quality client service while resolving complex accounting issues.

The role requires a CPA and 3+ years of public accounting experience with leadership of multiple engagements; travel to client sites will be needed on a schedule.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in accounting and CPA license required.
• At least 3 years of public accounting experience leading engagements and supervising staff.
• Experience auditing healthcare systems/hospitals preferred but not required.
• Excellent analytical and auditing skills with US GAAP familiarity.
• Strong client service and communication skills for relationships.
• Ability to travel as needed for client assignments.

Responsibilities

• Lead planning and execution of audits, reviews or compilations to deliver quality service.
• Oversee day-to-day audit engagement operations including staffing and risk assessment.
• Provide supervision and mentorship to staff and promote open communication with partners.
• Collaborate with seniors, supervisors and partners on issue resolution.
• Manage multiple engagements concurrently to meet deadlines.
• Create and monitor engagement budgets and provide performance feedback.
• Participate in professional development as instructor or discussion leader.
