Job summary
Langley Federal Credit Union is seeking a Senior Financial Service Representative to join our Taylor Road office in Chesapeake, VA. Provide members with impeccable service in person or by phone, using consultative selling to introduce financial products that meet needs and boost engagement.
You will open and close the branch when leadership is absent, mentor teammates, handle new accounts and loans, assist with online banking, and help protect members from fraud while ensuring compliance with
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in business management, finance, or related field with four years in a financial institution.
- One year of financial institution experience required; three years preferred.
- Notary Public commission within six months of hire.
Responsibilities
- Own branch operations including opening/closing when leadership is absent.
- Mentor staff and provide on-site training.
- Process new accounts, IRAs, and loans per policy.
- Offer consultative selling to meet members' needs.
- Assist with Online and Telephone banking and CRM records.
- Protect members via frontline fraud deterrence and compliance.
