Description du poste

Your Opportunity

At Schwab, you’re empowered to make an impact on your career. Here, innovative thought meets creative problem solving, helping us “challenge the status quo” and transform the finance industry together.

Applicants must currently be authorized to work for any employer in the United States, now and in the future, on a full-time basis without employer sponsorship.

We believe in the importance of in-office collaboration and fully intend for the selected candidate to work on site 4 days per week in one of the specified locations.

Schwab’s Workplace Services supports retirement, stock plans, and designated brokerage services for corporations and their employees. EquiView is Schwab’s proprietary equity (stock plan) recordkeeping system used by corporate Stock Plan Services (SPS) clients. As EquiView continues to scale, the WS Digital Product Management team is seeking a Sr. Manager, Digital Product Management with experience in equity compensation financial reporting (ASC 718/IFRS 2) to lead delivery of high-impact enhancements for our corporate B2B clients—partnering across Product, Technology, Reporting, Risk/Compliance, and Client Services.

This is an ideal stretch for someone who already knows EquiView and has been delivering financial reporting capabilities—ready to broaden scope, lead larger releases, and drive decisions across multiple stakeholder groups.

The Senior Financial Reporting Product Analyst is responsible for leading complex, cross-functional initiatives that advance Schwab’s enterprise equity compensation platform, with a particular focus on financial reporting capabilities and client outcomes. You would drive major product enhancements, large-scale client initiatives, system/data migrations, and regulatory-driven changes—operating with increasing autonomy, navigating ambiguity, and influencing multiple teams to deliver measurable business value.

You will provide strong delivery leadership with hands‑on product management experience in financial reporting (e.g., ASC 718/IFRS 2) and the ability to translate accounting and operational needs into scalable platform capabilities. For internal candidates, current experience owning or driving EquiView financial reporting outcomes is a significant advantage (domain knowledge, established partnerships, and understanding of our controls and client commitments). For external candidates, current experience owning or driving outcomes for the financial reporting module of an enterprise equity compensation platform, is a significant advantage. You will partner closely with Product, Engineering, QA, Reporting, Client Services, and Compliance to align priorities, manage risk and dependencies, and ensure high-quality delivery across EquiView initiatives.

What you’ll do
  • Leadership & Execution – Lead end-to-end delivery for complex, multi-release initiatives across EquiView, including financial reporting enhancements and regulatory‑and‑business‑driven updates. Own plans and outcomes: scope, timeline, dependencies, risk, resourcing, and stakeholder alignment. Drive UAT strategy and execution (planning, coordination, communications, and sign‑off) and ensure operational readiness for launch.
  • Partner with product owners, analysts, engineers, and stakeholders in an Agile environment to define problems, clarify requirements, and deliver incrementally, while balancing near‑term commitments with longer‑term platform strategy.
  • Client & Partner Focus – Partner with business stakeholders to define clear acceptance criteria, refine backlog items, and ensure requirements are testable and executable. Work directly with Engineering and QA to support solution design, clarify functional behavior, and resolve complex platform issues. Collaborate with Reporting, Client Services, Conversion, Product Support, and Operations to support client readiness, training, and post‑launch adoption.
  • Strategy – Contribute to the product vision and roadmap for EquiView financial reporting and recordkeeping capabilities by combining market/regulatory awareness with internal stakeholder insights. Identify opportunities to simplify workflows, reduce operational risk, and improve scalability for clients and internal teams.
  • Outcomes – Define success measures (quality, timeliness, adoption, and risk reduction) and drive delivery from discovery through launch. Ensure solutions are well‑documented, supportable, and aligned to client needs and Schwab operational controls.
What you have

To ensure that we fulfill our promise of "challenging the status quo," this role has specific qualifications that successful candidates should have.

Required Qualifications:
  • Entrepreneurial passion, professional persistence, and a consistently positive, solutions‑oriented attitude.
  • Exceptional stock plan and product management capabilities, including the ability to synthesize complex data, operational needs, and stakeholder feedback into actionable insights and product outcomes.
  • Two or more years of experience as a Product Owner, Product Manager, or in an equivalent role leading product backlogs, roadmap delivery, testing, implementation, and cross‑functional outcomes.
  • Experience in equity compensation, stock plan administration, equity accounting, financial reporting, and equity systems operations.
  • Deep knowledge of ASC 718 and equity modification accounting, with experience supporting stock‑based compensation expense calculations, reconciliations, and financial reporting processes.
  • Working knowledge of applicable IRS and SEC requirements, including Section 16 reporting, Forms 3, 4, and 5, 10‑K and 10‑Q disclosures, proxy reporting, and other equity‑related regulatory filings.
  • Strong knowledge of Employee Stock Purchase Plans, including ESPP accounting, administration, plan design, taxation, and employee reporting.
  • Experience working with equity plan platforms and enterprise financial reporting solutions, such as EquiView, Equity Edge Online, Shareworks, Fidelity PSW, and Certent/Global Shares.
  • Strong analytical and problem‑solving abilities, with demonstrated experience troubleshooting complex issues involving equity data, accounting calculations, reconciliations, business processes, and technology.
  • High attention to detail and the ability to drive work from initial concept through testing, implementation, operational readiness, and post‑implementation stabilization.
  • Demonstrated ability to deliver predictably, identify and manage risks proactively, and communicate clearly with business partners, technology teams, clients, and other stakeholders.
  • Ability and desire to work effectively and efficiently in a highly collaborative, cross‑functional team environment.
  • Experience participating in cross‑functional initiatives involving systems implementations, technology enhancements, financial reporting, operational process improvements, regulatory compliance, and business process redesign. The candidate’s experience includes equity platform implementations, process optimization, IPO readiness, tender offers, financial reporting improvements, and equity system migrations.
  • Experience turning ambiguous equity compensation requirements into automated auditable solutions by combining deep stock plan administration expertise, systems thinking, and AI‑assisted software development.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills, including experience conducting training, supporting prospective client discussions, collaborating with external auditors and consultants, and preparing regulatory disclosures and participant communications.
  • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent professional experience.
Preferred Qualifications:
  • Current, hands‑on EquiView Financial Reporting product experience is highly valued.
  • Familiarity with IFRS 2.
  • Agile and Scrum experience.
  • Project management, Agile, Scrum, or equivalent certification.

In addition to the salary range, this role is also eligible for bonuses or incentive opportunities.
