Job summary

Schwab is seeking a Senior Financial Reporting Product Analyst to lead complex, cross-functional initiatives for our enterprise equity compensation platform, focusing on financial reporting capabilities and client outcomes.

The role requires delivering major product enhancements, large-scale client initiatives, data migrations, and regulatory-driven changes in a collaborative environment with Product, Technology, Reporting, Risk/Compliance, and Client Services teams.

Qualifications

• Two+ years as Product Owner or Product Manager leading backlogs, roadmaps, testing and cross-functional outcomes.
• Experience in equity compensation, stock plan administration, equity accounting, financial reporting, and equity systems operations.
• Deep knowledge of ASC 718 and equity modification accounting; experience with stock-based compensation expense calculations.
• Strong knowledge of IRS and SEC requirements, including Form 3/4/5, 10-K/10-Q, proxy reporting, and related filings.
• Excellent written and verbal communication; ability to train, discuss with clients, and coordinate with auditors and consultants.
• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent professional experience.

Responsibilities

• Lead end-to-end delivery for complex, multi-release EquiView updates focused on financial reporting and regulatory-driven changes.
• Collaborate with product owners, analysts, engineers, and stakeholders in Agile environments to define problems and deliver increments.
• Define acceptance criteria, refine backlog items, and ensure requirements are testable and executable.
• Contribute to the product vision and roadmap for EquiView financial reporting and recordkeeping capabilities.
• Define success measures and drive delivery from discovery through launch with proper documentation and readiness.
