Antero Resources Corporation is seeking an experienced finance professional in Denver to lead consolidation, monthly closes, and SEC reporting efforts. The role requires strong GAAP knowledge, SOX/ICOFR expertise, and supervisory experience within an oil & gas context.

Qualifications

• GAAP expertise with focus on oil and gas accounting and complex transactions.
• Experience with SEC reporting requirements and public filings.
• Knowledge of SOX/ICOFR and internal controls over financial reporting.
• Ability to lead and develop finance staff and collaborate cross-functionally.

Responsibilities

• Prepare consolidated financial statements and notes for filings and internal reports.
• Review and post monthly journal entries and close calendar oversight.
• Coordinate with auditors for quarterly and yearly audits.
• Conduct accounting research for new standards and SEC input.
• Oversee leases accounting and prepare monthly lease expenditures and accruals.
• Provide key financial metrics to internal teams and liaise with departments.
