Job summary

Fort Worth-based energy company is seeking a Financial Reporting Manager to own the financial reporting process, drive close cycles, and improve reporting efficiency. This role offers a path to leadership as the team grows and processes mature.

The ideal candidate will have strong U.S. GAAP, IFRS, and multi-entity, multi-currency consolidation experience, with Oil & Gas or energy sector exposure preferred and CPA licensure.

Qualifications

• Active CPA license required.
• Six-plus years of progressive accounting experience owning financial reporting.
• Experience leading accounting staff.

Responsibilities

• Lead the monthly, quarterly, and annual close and reporting.
• Consolidate multiple entities and currencies under U.S. GAAP and IFRS.
• Research and apply technical accounting on new deals, joint ventures, acquisitions, and financing.
• Handle lender, joint venture partner, and owner reporting, including covenants.
• Run the external audit and strengthen internal controls.
• Partner with Treasury, FP&A, Tax, and Operations, and mentor the accounting team.

An established, privately held energy company in Fort Worth is searching for a Financial Reporting Manager to join their growing team. This position is newly created and will own the financial reporting process including improving existing processes to ensure efficiency and effectiveness.

Client Requirements
