Job summary

COUNTRY Financial is seeking a Financial Reporting Manager to lead the accounting and financial reporting function, including policies, controls, and regulatory submissions. The role requires guiding a finance team, improving processes, and ensuring accurate general ledger and financial statements.

The ideal candidate has extensive experience, CPA preferred, strong audit knowledge, and proven ability to manage regulatory and financial statement filings.

Qualifications

• Typically requires 8+ years of relevant experience or combination of related experience and training, including management experience.
• CPA preferred; strong audit knowledge is expected.
• Experience with regulatory filings is required.
• Experience with financial statement filings is expected.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate preparation of financial statements and related schedules for internal management and regulatory agencies.
• Oversee compliance with accounting standards and regulatory filing requirements; apply GAAP as needed.
• Research and implement changes in accounting rules and regulatory requirements; advise on financial reporting impacts.
• Lead disaster recovery planning and communications in assigned areas; maintain current contact information and coordinate with teams during incidents.
