Job summary

Diversified is seeking a Financial Reporting Manager to oversee monthly financial statements, GAAP compliance, and international reporting. This remote-friendly role partners with global accounting teams to ensure accurate, timely reporting and strong internal controls.

The position leads external audits, develops policy improvements, and delivers insightful analyses for management. Bachelor’s in accounting/finance required; CPA/CA/CMA preferred; 5–7 years of progressive experience.

Qualifications

• Degree in accounting or finance required.
• Master's degree and CPA/CA/CMA preferred.
• 5–7 years of progressive accounting/financial reporting experience at manager level.

Responsibilities

• Manage the preparation of monthly financial statements used for bank reporting and management reporting.
• Assist in researching technical accounting issues and drafting related whitepapers, ensuring proper accounting treatment and/or implementation of guidance.
• Manage the preparation and support of the audited annual financial statements.
• Serve as a key point of contact for the external auditors.
• Communicate and coordinate with accounting personnel at our international locations, providing them with monthly documentation necessary for a timely and accurate close.
• Provide accounting support and help ensure consistent policy and procedure implementation at our international entities.
• Compile and analyze financial information to review and participate in month-end, quarter-end and year-end closing and reporting activities.
• Lead the preparation of monthly financial variance analysis reports.
• Take a leading role in the implementation of internal controls and process improvements.
