Job summary

COUNTRY Financial is seeking a Financial Reporting Manager to lead key accounting activities, including financial reporting, accounting policies and controls, regulatory reporting, and maintaining accurate records such as the general ledger and financial statements.

The ideal candidate will provide leadership to the finance and accounting team, develop talent, strengthen processes, and ensure efficient operation of the financial reporting function, while guiding compliance with GAAP and

Qualifications

CPA preferred.
Audit knowledge.
Experience with regulatory filings.
Experience with financial statement filings.

Responsibilities

Coordinates the preparation of financial statements and related schedules/exhibits for internal management and regulatory agencies.
Oversees compliance with statutory accounting principles and procedures, generally accepted accounting practices and procedures, as well as regulatory and other external financial filing requirements.
Researches and implements changes in accounting rules, regulatory filing requirements, organization and company operations. Provides guidance to other areas as it relates to financial reporting requirements.
Manages the implementation and maintenance of disaster recovery plans and activities in assigned areas. Maintains current contact information for all employees in applicable areas and communicates with non-recovery employees during a disaster.
