Job summary

Chipotle Mexican Grill, Inc. in Newport Beach, CA, seeks a Senior Analyst, Financial Reporting and Accounting, to support monthly and quarterly close, consolidation, and reporting to deliver accurate statements.

You will strengthen internal controls, design documentation, and drive automation to shorten close timelines and reduce risk, while collaborating with internal and external partners in a multi-unit retail environment.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance required.

Responsibilities

• Own key components of the monthly/quarterly close process, including preparing and reviewing journal entries and ensuring accuracy per US GAAP.
• Perform balance sheet reconciliations, investigate variances, and maintain audit-ready documentation.
• Prepare and review internal and external financial statements and disclosures in accordance with US GAAP and company policies.
• Maintain and enhance process documentation for SOX compliance and support audit requests.
• Drive standardization and automation of close and reporting processes using data visualization and technology.
• Collaborate with the team on special projects as needed.
