Chipotle Mexican Grill, Inc. is seeking a Senior Analyst, Financial Reporting and Accounting to join our controllership team. You will support monthly close, consolidations, and GAAP reporting while strengthening internal controls and documenting processes.

You will drive automation, prepare audit-ready statements, and collaborate with internal and external partners across our U.S. operations. The role requires CPA progress, 3+ years in accounting, and strong analytical and communication skills.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting or Finance required.
• CPA (or actively pursuing CPA) required.
• 3+ years of progressive accounting/financial reporting experience.
• US GAAP expertise and consolidations/reconciliations experience.
• SEC Reporting exposure preferred.
• SOX and internal controls experience.
• Strong attention to detail and analytical skills.
• Strong written and verbal communication.
• Ability to collaborate with internal and external partners.
• Proficiency in Excel.

Responsibilities

• Own key components of monthly/quarterly close including journal entries.
• Perform and certify balance sheet account reconciliations and document variances.
• Prepare and review internal and external financial statements per US GAAP.
• Maintain SOX compliant process documentation and support audits.
• Drive process standardization and automation using data visualization.
• Collaborate with the team on special projects as needed.
