Job summary

Tangent is seeking an experienced accounting and financial analysis professional to partner with the VP of Finance and controllers to manage monthly, quarterly, and annual reporting for internal and external stakeholders. You will also help implement and test the consolidation/FP&A tool, ensuring accuracy and timeliness across all reports.

You will create detailed internal reports, research variances with cross-functional teams, and support the corporate controllers with key accounting

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting or Finance.
• CPA and/or Masters degree preferred.
• 5+ years of relevant accounting/financial analysis experience.
• Infor Syteline or Epicor ERP experience is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements for internal and external reporting.
• Create and manage weekly and monthly reports to support departmental and business needs.
• Assist with the implementation and testing of financial reporting consolidation / FP&A tool.
• Explain variances by working with departments and management.
• Prepare income statements, balance sheets, and cash flow statements monthly.
• Investigate and correct errors in financial entries and reports.
• Provide ad hoc financial reports, tables, and exhibits as requested.
• Research balance sheet items and income/expense fluctuations.
