Financial Services Firm (Publicly Traded), a technology-forward company, seeks a Senior Financial Reporting & Analytics Analyst to support financial reporting, accounting, and data analysis across a growing finance organization.

Must have a Big 4/Public Accounting background, financial services and SEC reporting experience; CPA or CPA track is highly preferred. The role is hybrid in NYC, offering a path to strengthen processes and drive insights through data visualization and automation.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, Business, Analytics, or a related field.
• 3+ years of experience in accounting, audit, financial reporting, FP&A, or finance transformation.
• Advanced Excel skills and experience with large datasets.
• Experience supporting SEC financial reporting and business analytics initiatives.
• Familiarity with SQL, Tableau, Power BI, or other BI tools.

Responsabilités

• Support internal and external financial reporting activities with timely delivery of reporting packages.
• Prepare recurring management reports, dashboards, and analyses for decision-making.
• Analyze financial and operational data to identify trends and explain variances.
• Work with large datasets from multiple sources to improve reporting accuracy and transparency.
• Develop and maintain reporting tools and dashboards using BI platforms.
• Assist with month-end, quarter-end, and year-end reporting and audit support.
• Collaborate with accounting, finance, technology, and operations teams to improve data quality.
• Identify opportunities for automation and process efficiencies.
• Support reporting system implementations and finance transformation projects.
• Perform ad hoc analyses and special projects as needed.
