Job summary

The State Treasurer's Office is seeking a Financial Reporting Lead to coordinate and manage accounting functions within the Treasury Management Division, ensuring reconciliations are efficient and providing support in reporting and analysis tasks.

Under limited supervision, you will act as lead and liaison for the division, prepare complex financial reports, back-up for daily depositary activities, and contribute to process improvements and staff training.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or Business Management.
• At least three years of full-time progressively responsible fiscal experience in accounting, finance, or auditing.
• Prior experience reconciling bank accounts on a daily basis.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate and manage accounting functions and/or special projects in Treasury Management.
• Cross-train and back-up to Accountant/Fiscal Analyst roles in daily depositary and ACH/check activities.
• Update and maintain control books on FMS and SCEIS; analyze financial reports and resolve errors.
• Prepare complex financial reports for internal and external promulgation as required.
• Manage STO security and arising issues related to the role.
