The State Treasurer's Office is seeking a Financial Reporting Lead to coordinate and manage accounting functions within the Treasury Management Division, ensuring reconciliations are efficient and providing support in reporting and analysis tasks.
Under limited supervision, you will act as lead and liaison for the division, prepare complex financial reports, back-up for daily depositary activities, and contribute to process improvements and staff training.

Under limited supervision, this position will be responsible for the coordination and management of Financial Reporting and certain bank accounting functions within the Treasury Management Division, ensuring that reconciliations are performed in the most efficient manner possible. Also serves as support in various reporting and analysis tasks as assigned.
A Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or Business Management. At least three (3) years of full-time progressively responsible fiscal experience in accounting, finance, or auditing. Prior experience reconciling bank accounts on a daily basis is required.
Knowledge of the principles, practices and theories of accounting, auditing, banking, budgeting, or financial management. Knowledge of laws, regulations, and policies applicable to the area of employment. Knowledge of state governmental fiscal and budgetary processes. Knowledge of office management and organizational concepts. Knowledge of EDP financial information and reporting systems. Ability to proficiently apply mathematical concepts. Ability to plan and implement a financial management program. Ability to interpret and analyze complex financial data and reports. Ability to plan, assign, review, and supervise the work of others. Ability to communicate effectively both orally and in writing.
Must be able to safely lift and carry files, books and reports weighing up to 20 lbs. Must be able to sit, stand, and walk for intermittent periods of time. Must be able to reach, bend, and twist at the waist to perform filing, desk work and operate general office equipment.
