Job summary

SPS Commerce Inc. in Minneapolis, MN is seeking a Senior Financial Reporting Analyst to drive external financial reporting and technical accounting. You will partner with the Finance team to support SEC filings, modernize reporting, and improve processes while maintaining rigorous controls.

The role is hybrid out of our Minneapolis headquarters, about 2x per week, with a competitive salary and comprehensive benefits. Public company reporting experience is valued, and CPA is preferred.

Qualifications

• Strong understanding of financial reporting, including SEC regulations and underlying U.S. GAAP.
• CPA (active or inactive) preferred.
• Experience with Workiva, Oracle, and/or Intelligize preferred.

Responsibilities

• Prepare quarterly and annual financial reports (Forms 10-Q and 10-K) and review disclosures for compliance.
• Support Investor Relations processes and earnings releases.
• Partner with account owners and cross-functional teams to improve data accuracy of financial and non-financial info.
• Utilize and optimize reporting tools to support and improve processes.
• Research technical accounting matters and reach informed conclusions.
• Draft and assist in development of accounting policies and document significant transactions.
• Fulfill external audit requests accurately and on time.
• Act as a proactive business partner by delivering consistent reporting.
