Job summary

Mission Staffing in New York, NY is seeking an SEC Reporting professional to prepare and review quarterly and annual SEC filings (10-Q, 10-K). You will assist with footnote disclosures, MD&A, earnings materials, and management reporting while supporting GAAP, SOX compliance, and related controls.

Ideal candidates have 3+ years of Big 4 experience with Financial Services clients or SEC reporting, CPA or parts passed preferred, and strong financial reporting and analytical skills.

Qualifications

• 3+ years of Big 4 experience with Financial Services clients or SEC reporting experience
• CPA or parts passed preferred, but not required
• Strong financial reporting and analytical skills

Responsibilities

• Prepare and review quarterly and annual SEC filings, including 10-Q and 10-K reports
• Assist with footnote disclosures, MD&A, earnings materials, and management reporting
• Support SEC, GAAP, and SOX compliance and related control processes
• Analyze financial results and investigate reporting discrepancies
• Partner with internal Finance teams on reporting and special projects
• Help improve and streamline financial reporting processes through automation and technology
