Qualifications

• GAAP and/or statutory accounting bases.
• Insurance regulatory requirements.
• Complex financial statement preparation, including consolidation of companies/subsidiaries.
• Financial/statistical analysis.
• Principles of taxation and related impact on financial statements.
• Accounting and/or business computer systems.
• Ability to analyze financial results and trends and explain implications.
• Strong verbal and written communication with regulators and partners.

Responsabilités

• Prepare and review federal, state and local statutory financial statements and reports.
• Assist in quarterly results analysis and trend evaluation for reporting integrity.
• Support tax payments and regulatory filings as required.
• Provide audit evidence and respond to external auditors and regulators.
• Improve monthly/quarterly close and financial reporting processes.
• Collaborate with offshore teams and internal stakeholders on controls.
