Job summary

Helmerich & Payne, Inc. is seeking a Financial Reporting Analyst to assist with external financial reporting and technical accounting. The role reports to the Senior Manager of External Reporting and supports quarterly/annual SEC filings and audit requests in a onsite Tulsa environment.

The candidate should have a bachelor’s in accounting, 1–3+ years accounting experience, and strong analytical and communication skills. Knowledge of Wdesk, Hyperion, and Oracle is beneficial.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s or higher degree in Accounting, CPA or CPA candidate preferred.
• 1–3+ years of accounting experience required.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills; ability to analyze information.

Responsibilities

• Assist in preparing quarterly and annual SEC reports and MD&A.
• Coordinate with external and internal audit requests and provide information.
• Prepare tie-out packages for external/internal reports.
• Support process improvements and special accounting projects.
• Contribute to timely and accurate financial reporting processes.
