Job summary

Helmerich and Payne is seeking a Financial Reporting Analyst in Tulsa, OK. The role supports external financial reporting and the Senior Manager of External Reporting, assisting with SEC filings and technical accounting needs.

Responsibilities include MD&A support, audit liaison, tie-out packages, and process improvements. Requires a accounting degree, CPA (or candidate), and 1–3+ years of accounting experience, with strong analytical and communication skills.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's or higher degree in Accounting.
• CPA or CPA candidate.
• 1–3+ years of accounting experience.
• Strong analytical skills.
• Excellent interpersonal and written/oral communication skills.
• Ability to analyze and interpret accounting information.
• Excellent computer skills and able to work in a multi-disciplinary team.
• Candidate must be self-motivated and take ownership of projects.

Responsibilities

• Assist with the preparation of quarterly and annual SEC reports, including MD&A, utilizing the Wdesk platform.
• Assist with audit questions and prepare audit information requests.
• Prepare tie-out packages of external and internal reports.
• Assist with internal and external audit requests.
• Provide technical accounting assistance with special projects.
• Contribute to process improvement initiatives.
• Other tasks and ad hoc projects as assigned.
