Job summary

CFS is seeking a Senior Financial Reporting Accountant in the Houston area to join the finance team and support the monthly close, intercompany accounting, and consolidations. You will own consolidation processes, assist with filings, and advise on technical accounting matters under U.S. GAAP.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting; CPA or CPA candidate required.
• 3–5+ years of public accounting experience (audit/financial reporting focus).
• Strong knowledge of U.S. GAAP and financial statement preparation. Advanced Excel; ERP experience (OneStream a plus).

Responsibilities

• Support monthly close including journal entries, reconciliations, and reporting.
• Manage intercompany accounting, eliminations, and consolidation processes.
• Prepare consolidated financial statements and supporting schedules.
• Assist with quarterly/annual filings and lender reporting requirements.
• Research and document technical accounting matters under U.S. GAAP.
• Partner with external auditors during reviews and annual audits.
