Job summary

CFS in Houston, TX is seeking a Senior Financial Reporting Accountant to join the finance team. You will support monthly close, consolidate intercompany activity, and prepare financial statements for senior management.

The role offers exposure to auditors, SEC filings, and cross-functional collaboration with operations, with a base salary of $100,000–$130,000 plus bonus and a comprehensive benefits package.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting; CPA or CPA candidate.
• 3-5+ years of public accounting experience (audit/financial reporting focus).
• Strong knowledge of U.S. GAAP and financial statement preparation.
• Advanced Excel skills; ERP experience required (OneStream a plus).

Responsibilities

• Support monthly close including journal entries, reconciliations, and reporting
• Manage intercompany accounting, eliminations, and consolidation processes
• Prepare consolidated financial statements and supporting schedules
• Assist with quarterly/annual filings and lender reporting requirements
• Research and document technical accounting matters under U.S. GAAP
• Partner with external auditors during reviews and annual audits
