Job summary

Greenberg Traurig, LLP is seeking a senior level Associate for its Financial Regulatory & Compliance Practice across multiple US offices, including DC, Miami, New York, Chicago, Atlanta, Phoenix and Dallas.

The ideal candidate has at least 6 years of regulatory and compliance experience, strong research and writing skills, and admission to or eligibility for admission in the relevant jurisdiction. Fluency in Spanish is preferred but not required.

Qualifications

• Minimum 6 years of financial services regulatory and compliance experience (banking, money services businesses, payment systems, FinTech).
• Experience with licensing/chartering, and knowledge of key financial services laws and regulations (e.g., BSA/AML, sanctions, third-party risk management, and consumer compliance).
• Enforcement experience is a plus.
• Strong academic background and excellent legal research, analysis and writing skills.
• Admitted to or eligible for admission in the relevant jurisdiction.
• Fluency in Spanish is preferred but not required.

Juris Doctor (JD) or equivalent
