WHAT WE’RE LOOKING FOR
We are seeking a Senior Analyst to join our LARQ team and provide valuable insights into our business through financial and commercial data analysis, forecasting and reporting. Reporting directly to the VP of Finance and Operations, the Senior Analyst will play a crucial role in preparing monthly FP&A reports, managing month-end reporting processes, and developing regular forecasts alongside the annual budget. This position offers the opportunity to develop and implement reports that will guide our business decisions.
As a small, privately owned company, we offer an ambitious candidate the opportunity to gain broad exposure across multiple areas of finance and develop a deep understanding of overall business performance. The ideal candidate will bring strong expertise in FP&A, excellent organizational skills, and a proactive mindset focused on continuous process improvement. The ability to effectively manage competing priorities and consistently meet deadlines is essential.
In our close-knit team, the Senior Analyst will be expected to actively support the accounting and operations teams in achieving overall objectives, demonstrating a hands-on approach and willingness to tackle various tasks.
JOB DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
·Month-end and Year-end closing : Play a key role in the month-end and year-end closing processes. This includes preparing financial reporting packages and incorporating stakeholder feedback.
·FP&A Monthly Report :Develop and prepare monthly FP&A reports to provide insights into business performance.
·Forecasting : Regular forecasting required to ensure the business is on track with their objectives.
·Annual Budget :Lead and prepare the annual budget in line with the mid-term strategy, approved by the Management Team and HQ.
·In-Year Estimates :Provide two in-year estimates in accordance with HQ planning.
·Business Steering Reports :Develop and deliver reports or ad-hoc analysis as required for overall business steering and decision-making.
·Revenue/Pricing Analysis :Monitor and regularly update revenue/pricing analysis for changes.
·Liaison :Liaise with HQ functions and peers in other markets.
REQUIREMENTS AND QUALIFICATIONS
· Bachelor’s or master’s degree in Finance/Accounting or relevant commercial/analytical background
· At least 4-6 years of, finance, investment banking or accounting experience
· Preferred industry experience in consumer products, retail, manufacturing or eCommerce
· Excellent Excel modelling and analytical skills
· Familiarity with the main three financial statements (Income Statement, Balance Sheet, and Cash Flow Statement) and understanding of how they interrelate, including the workings of a P&L
· Self-motivated with the ability to work independently, manage multiple priorities and thrive in a small company environment
· Ability to manage and meet deadlines
· Highly organized and detail-oriented
· Hands-on, collaborative mindset with a willingness to support both finance and operations in achieving business goals
WORKING HOURS AND BENEFITS
· Hybrid work with 3 days per week in our San Mateo office

· This role's targeted hiring salary range is between $90K to $110k. The actual base pay is dependent upon many factors, including but not limited to prior work experiences, training/education, transferable skills, business needs, and geographical location. The base pay range is subject to change and may be modified in the future.
