Senior Financial Planning Analyst

Overview

Apply for this remote, hybrid position based in Downers Grove, Illinois. The role is full-time and involves partnering closely with senior leadership in FP&A, Segment CFO, and Segment Leadership.

Role Summary

The Senior Financial Planning Analyst will be pivotal in segment-level financial reporting and performance management. Responsibilities include leading planning cycles, guiding processes across Commercial Operations and Supply Chain, harmonizing reporting content, and influencing business decisions through analysis and insights.

Key Responsibilities

1. Partner with leadership to enhance reporting, analytics, and financial practices to drive accountability.
2. Improve visibility and accuracy of Supply Chain and Materials Management financial reporting.
3. Lead reviews of KPIs and P&L analyses, support policy development, and identify improvement areas.
4. Conduct market and competitor analysis for strategic planning and reporting.
5. Consolidate forecasts, analyze trends, and develop data-driven models.
6. Provide strategic FP&A guidance and support across teams.
7. Perform monthly financial analyses, reforecasting, and variance analysis.
8. Support M&A financial modeling and strategic projects.
9. Create ad-hoc reports for decision-making.
10. Proactively report on root causes and remediation plans for financial variances.
11. Drive process improvements and standardization in financial tools and processes.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's in Accounting or Finance; advanced degree or CPA preferred.
• At least 7 years of relevant experience in finance, including leadership roles, with manufacturing experience preferred.
• Experience in multi-site manufacturing, process improvement, and supporting Commercial Operations and Supply Chain.
• Strong communication, analytical, and collaboration skills.
• ERP system proficiency, especially Oracle, SAP, Hyperion, or OneStream; advanced Excel skills essential.

Additional Details

Salary Range: $120,000 - $150,000/year, dependent on experience and location.

Must be eligible to work in the U.S. without sponsorship.
