Job summary

MOHR Talent partners with a growing wealth management organization to hire a Senior Financial Planner in Austin for advanced planning across tax, estate, retirement, investments, insurance, and risk. You will present plans to advisors and high-net-worth clients, shaping how advanced planning is delivered within the firm.

You will lead complex planning projects, develop Excel models, and collaborate with advisors to enhance processes and technology.

Qualifications

7+ years of financial planning experience.
Strong knowledge of tax, estate, retirement, investment, and insurance planning.
Experience presenting to financial advisors and clients.

Responsibilities

Develop and present advanced financial plans for advisors and clients.
Support complex planning across tax, estate, retirement, investment, insurance, and risk.
Work directly with high-net-worth clients, including households with $10M+ net worth.
Partner with financial advisors on complex client planning strategies.
Use planning platforms such as eMoney, MoneyGuidePro, RightCapital, Holistiplan, or similar.
Build advanced Excel models for planning scenarios and projections.
Improve planning processes, deliverables, and advisor support.
Evaluate planning technology, automation, and AI opportunities.
Lead planning projects from concept through implementation.
Help strengthen advisor adoption and confidence in the planning function.
Provide leadership and guidance to a junior team member as the group grows.
