Job summary

Indiana University Bloomington is seeking a Sr. Financial Administrator to direct the daily and long-term financial and administrative operations across multiple units.

You will ensure accuracy, timelines, and integrity within the Financial Administration family, and oversee expenditures, revenues, and budget development. You will supervise staff, manage complex projects, and drive financial strategies aligned with university policies.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in finance, business, or related field.
• Master's degree preferred.
• 4 years of related functional experience.
• 1 year of management experience.

Responsibilities

• Directs daily and long-term financial and administrative operations of multiple units.
• Ensures accuracy, timelines, and integrity of Financial Administration.
• Controls expenditures and statements for regulatory compliance and fiscal integrity.
• Manages complex revenues including internal and external sources.
• Prepares operating and project budgets; drafts annual revenue/expenditure budgets.
• Monitors budgets and develops budgetary policies and procedures.
• Supervises business support personnel and directs special projects.
