We are seeking a Senior Financial and Operations Analyst to dynamic and rapidly growing organization within the manufacturing industry. This newly created role will play an integral part in providing analytical support to improve decision-making, drive operational efficiency, and achieve strategic financial goals.

The ideal candidate must have a strong background in financial analysis, advanced Excel expertise, and experience with Power BI and enjoy being hands on.

Schedule: hybrid with remote days each week

Essential Duties & Functions

• Develop, analyze, and interpret financial models and consolidated financial reports.
• Assist with monthly, quarterly, and annual financial reporting, including variance analysis against budgets and forecasts.
• Partner with leadership to create and maintain financial forecasts and annual budgets.
• Monitor and update financial forecasts based on operational and market conditions.
• Track, analyze, and report key performance indicators (KPIs) to assess operational and financial performance.
• Collaborate with operations teams to identify opportunities for cost savings and efficiency improvements.
• Use advanced Excel skills to manipulate and analyze large data sets.
• Utilize SQL to query and manage data from various systems, ensuring data accuracy and integrity.
• Create dashboards and visual reports in Power BI to communicate actionable insights to stakeholders.
• Support continuous improvement initiatives by identifying process inefficiencies and recommending solutions.
• Assist in developing and implementing tools and processes to streamline financial and operational workflows.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Business, Economics, or a related field.
• 3+ years of relevant experience in financial analysis, operations analysis, or a similar role. Experience in manufacturing or supply chain environments is a plus.
• Proven experience with Power BI, creating reports from scratch.
• Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel (macros, pivot tables, VLOOKUP, data modeling, etc.).
• Experience with SQL for data extraction and manipulation.
• Knowledge of ERP systems is a plus.
