The National Security Sector at Leidos currently has an opening for a Senior Cloud Financial Operations Analyst supporting the SABRE program at Hanscom AFB, MA. This position is on a future contract pending award announcement.

Responsibilities Include:

1. Develop and champion cloud infrastructure cost management best practices
2. Build analytical models to provide data-driven guidance on cloud infrastructure spend
3. Create utilization and forecasting models to predict future outcomes of cloud infrastructure spend and usage
4. Create and maintain internal documentation on FinOps and cost optimization processes
5. Partner with the agency's finance, procurement, and engineering teams to help measure and manage cloud infrastructure costs
6. Leverage public cloud technology tools to drive FinOps practices and methodologies
7. Implement continuous monitoring strategies to identify cost anomalies, inefficiencies, and optimization opportunities
8. Educate stakeholders on cost-aware cloud practices and influence engineering and procurement teams on cost-effective design decisions
9. Ensure financial transparency and cost optimization while maintaining operational efficiency within the SABRE program

Clearance Required:

Active DoD Secret

Required Experience, Skills, and Education:

1. BS and 3 or more years of experience working with AWS cloud services
2. Minimum of 2 years of experience supporting DoD or other Federal Government environments
3. Deep understanding of Cloud Service Provider (CSP) FinOps tools for cloud cost management and optimization
4. Experience with relational databases, data extraction, and data analysis tools to support cloud financial operations
5. Strong knowledge of Federal Government IT procurement processes and cloud financial governance
6. Expertise in industry best practices for cloud resource tagging and enforcement through automation
7. Ability to develop and implement cloud cost optimization strategies in multi-cloud environments
8. Experience collaborating with finance, procurement, and engineering teams to align cloud spending with mission objectives
9. Understanding of DoD cloud security compliance frameworks and cloud financial policies

Preferred Experience, Skills, and Education:

1. AWS Certified Cloud Practitioner (for cost optimization expertise)
2. FinOps Certified Practitioner (Linux Foundation FinOps Foundation)
3. Understanding of DoD PPBE (Planning, Programming, Budgeting & Execution) processes
4. Experience with USAF cloud cost models and financial reporting requirements

Pay Range $57,850.00 - $104,575.00
