Zusammenfassung

The State of North Carolina Department of Transportation is seeking an Accountant III (NS) to lead interagency settlements, manage receivables and payables with toll agencies, and ensure accurate data for NCTA reporting. You will become proficient with the Back Office System (BOS) and SAP General Ledger while coordinating with Accounting and NCTA staff to refine processes.

Applicants should have a Bachelor's degree in accounting and four years of professional accounting experience; hybrid remote

Qualifikationen

• Bachelor’s degree in accounting or related discipline with 18 semester hours of accounting coursework.
• Four years of professional accounting/auditing experience in the preparation of interpretive or analytical accounting, financial statements and reports.
• Equivalent combination of education and experience may be accepted.

Aufgaben

• Lead interagency settlements and manage receivables/payables with toll agencies.
• Learn BOS integrity and SAP GL impacts for settlements and reporting.
• Coordinate with Accounting Manager, unit staff and NCTA staff to refine business processes.
• Oversee monthly settlements and ensure accurate data collection for NCTA reporting.
