Job summary

T-Mobile seeks a finance professional to refine and develop financial models focusing on promotional spend and breakage, and to analyze, design, and test data enhancements and reports.

You will synthesize findings into business drivers, provide recommendations to drive change, and build client relationships in a collaborative team. You will interface with Finance, Product, Marketing and Accounting leaders and support financial questions.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree with quantitative concentration in finance, economics, or statistics is required.
• 4–7 years of experience in Finance, Accounting, Forecasting, or Budgeting is required.
• Strong understanding of T-Mobile’s Beyond the Smartphone Business.
• Experience building forecast models/financial models.
• Proficient in SQL and data extraction from multiple sources (Oracle, Snowflake, SQL Server).
• Strong Excel skills (VLOOKUP, INDEX/MATCH, SUMIF).
• Experience building PowerBI dashboards.
• Wireless Telecom experience preferred.
• SAP/BPC, Hyperion or equivalent knowledge; familiarity with Business Objects, SQL, databases or other reporting tools (Preferred).
• Microsoft Office, Analytics, Problem Solving, and Communication (Required).
• Data Mining, Business Objects, Reporting & Analysis, and Wireless (Preferred).

Responsibilities

• Refine and develop financial models using sophisticated methods and best practices, focusing on promotional spend and breakage.
• Analyze, design, and test enhancements and changes to data and reports.
• Synthesize findings into business drivers and provide recommendations to drive change.
• Develop and manage positive client relationships in a collaborative team environment.
• Coordinate consolidation of financial outcomes, reports, and presentations.
• Interface with Finance, Product, Marketing, and Accounting partners and leaders.
• Provide analytical support for financial questions.
• Analyze financial data behaviors and improve modeling capabilities.
