Position: Senior Financial Management Support

Location: Fort Detrick, MD

Work Environment: Hybrid / Telework Eligible (Routine and situational telework is authorized.)

Clearance Required: TIER 1: Non-critical sensitive position (Must be able to obtain and maintain)

Status: Contingent

Anticipated Salary Range: $110,000 - $135,000

Knowesis is seeking a Senior Financial Management Support role to provide critical financial planning and budgeting expertise for the WRPBH division. Utilizing the DoD’s PPBE process, this role ensures accurate life cycle cost estimation, budgeting, and execution tracking to successfully fund brain health and readiness initiatives.

The Job Duties and Responsibilities include but are not limited to the following:

• Support the development of the Strategic Portfolio Analysis Review (SPAR), Program Objective Memorandum (POM), and annual spend plans.
• Apply standard cost estimating techniques utilizing the Automated Cost Estimating Integrated Tools (ACEIT) to develop Life Cycle Cost Estimates (LCCE).
• Identify and recommend methods to ensure effective and efficient use of funding resources.
• Coordinate and consolidate financial data to produce monthly financial reports, tracking obligations and disbursements.
• Support the acquisition process using designated financial systems (e.g., GFEBS, MDAPT, CCaR) to track expenditures versus planned budgets.

Required Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree in Finance, Accounting, Business, or related field.
• At least 8 years of full-time work experience in DoD financial management and budget execution.
• Advanced proficiency with Automated Cost Estimating Integrated Tools (ACEIT) and Microsoft Excel.

Preferred Qualifications

• Certified Defense Financial Manager (CDFM) certification.
• Demonstrated experience with GFEBS and the DoD PPBE process.
