Job summary

CGS seeks a Senior Financial Investigator to join our Financial Investigation department, supporting a large federal agency. You will lead investigations, perform financial analyses, and develop evidence for litigation, coordinating with paralegals and attorneys.

Qualifications

• Minimum of four years experience planning and conducting civil or criminal complex investigations.
• Working knowledge of current investigative techniques including the use of commercial databases.
• Must have a valid driver's license.
• U.S. Citizenship and ability to obtain adjudication for the requisite background investigation.

Responsibilities

• Plans and conducts investigations.
• Performs quantitative, qualitative, or other analysis of relevant facts.
• Prepares the results to support the mission.
• Develops and analyzes evidence from various sources.
• Gather[s] and analyzes facts for prosecutorial objectives.
• Establishes and verifies relationships among facts and evidence.
• Provides analysis relevant to violations of federal law.
• Prepares interim and final reports on investigations.
• Prepares affidavits and testifies in court.
• Advises on methods for planning, scheduling, and conducting investigations.
• Examines books, payroll records, and other records pertaining to the transactions.
