Job summary
CGS is seeking a Senior Financial Investigator to join our Financial Investigation team providing legal support and investigative services to a large federal agency. You will plan and conduct investigations, analyze financial data, and prepare reports to support prosecutorial objectives.

Qualifications
- Minimum four years experience in planning and conducting civil or criminal complex investigations concerning misuse of funds (public/private/insurance).
- Working knowledge of current investigative techniques including use of databases and other sources of information.
Responsibilities
- Plans and conducts investigations
- Performs quantitative, qualitative, or other analysis of relevant facts
- Prepares results to support the mission
- Gathers and analyzes facts including statements, timelines, data for prosecutorial objectives
- Assists in preparation of interim and final reports and charts for motions and trial
- Prepares affidavits and testifies in court as required
- Examines records pertaining to investigations
- Establishes and verifies relationships among facts and evidence
