Job summary

Reyes Beverage Group in Chicago seeks a results-oriented BI/Data Reporting Analyst to maintain financial planning systems, build cross-department reports, and translate business needs into data solutions.

You will collaborate with Finance and BI teams, deliver ad-hoc reports, and support data quality and reporting efficiency through SQL, Power BI, and Snowflake.

Qualifications

• SQL skills required and experience with Power BI.
• Business data analysis and reporting experience.
• Ability to translate business needs into technical report requirements.
• Experience with financial reporting preferred.

Responsibilities

• Maintains and supports financial planning systems and liaises between Finance and BI teams.
• Gathers and analyzes data and data requirements with technical and business stakeholders.
• Develops and maintains multi-department reporting aligned with operational objectives.
• Performs ad-hoc reporting requests of moderate complexity.
• Other duties as assigned.

Job description

Position Responsibilities:

• Manages the maintenance and support of our financial planning systems and liaise between Finance team and Business Intelligence team for financial system related issues, updates and enhancement projects
• Collaborates with technical resources and functional business managers to gather and analyze data and data requirements
• Develops and maintains multi-department reporting based on a clear understanding of operational objectives. Translates strategic business logic into technical report requirements and schema design
• Performs and completes ad-hoc reporting requests of moderate complexity
• Other duties as assigned

Required Education and Experience:

• Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or a related discipline and 3 to 5 years of related experience or High School Diploma/General Education Diploma and 6 to 8 plus years of specific experience
• Excellent SQL skills
• 2 plus years of Power BI experience, including experience with Data Set creation and utilizing DAX

Preferred Education and Experience:

• Master’s Degree
• Two or more years financial reporting experience
• Experience partnering with Business Intelligence
• Experience with Snowflake and SQL Server
• Proficient in developing Microsoft Power BI reports and dashboards as well as data connection and transformation capabilities of Power BI
