Job summary

Reyes Beverage Group is seeking a Business Intelligence Architect to design, develop, and support front-end BI solutions for reporting and analytics. You will perform data analysis, create data models, and coordinate offshore resources while ensuring data integrity and alignment with security standards.

The role emphasizes BI adoption across the business and collaboration with Architecture and Security teams.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree and 3–5 years related BI/analytics experience, or GED plus 6+ years
• 2+ years Power BI experience with dataset creation and DAX usage
• Strong SQL skills and data modeling fundamentals; familiarity with BI tools

Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and support front-end BI solutions for reporting and analytics as BI Architect, coordinating offshore resources
• Perform data analysis and build data models for peer review ensuring data integrity
• Guide offshore development and support resources to optimize project outcomes
• Promote BI adoption and citizen developer initiatives across the business
• Collaborate with Architecture and Security to ensure compliance with security standards
• Maintain comprehensive technical architecture documentation and plan capacity for existing and new solutions
• Perform other duties as assigned

Position Responsibilities:

• Design, develop, and support front-end user-facing solutions for reporting and analytics as the Business Intelligence Architect, while performing data analysis, constructing technical designs, communicating with stakeholders, and coordinating the work of offshore development and support resources
• Perform comprehensive data analysis and create data models for peer review, ensuring high standards of data integrity and quality throughout the development process
• Provide guidance and direction to offshore support and development resources, fostering collaboration and optimizing project outcomes
• Promote the adoption of BI solutions and capabilities while encouraging citizen developer initiatives within the business community to empower users in leveraging data effectively
• Collaborate closely with Architecture and Security teams to ensure that all solutions comply with established security and authentication standards, safeguarding sensitive information
• Maintain accurate and complete technical architecture documentation, while also planning for capacity to support both existing and new solutions effectively
• Other duties as assigned

Required Education and Experience:

• Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or a related disciplineand 3 to 5 years of related experience or High School Diploma/General Education Degree (GED) and 6 to 8 plus years of specific experience
• 2 plus years of Power BI experience, including experience with Data Set creationand utilizing DAX

Preferred Education and Experience:

• Master’s Degree
• Experience with Snowflake, SQL Server, and Microsoft Azure, along with architecting and developing solutions on Cognos, proficiency in JavaScript, knowledge of data warehousing and modeling concepts, familiarity with other BI, analytics, or data science tools, and experience working on agile/SCRUM teams, including collaboration with offshore resources
• Excellent SQL skills
