Qualifications

• Degree in accounting or related field with 24 semester hours in accounting, possibly including up to 6 hours of business law.
• Combination of education and experience: 4 years accounting experience with recognized accounting coursework or credentials.
• Specialized experience at GS-11/ GS-12 level or equivalent as described in the announcement.

Responsibilities

• Contributes to effective management control over program operations by establishing and maintaining business processes.
• Coordinates input in development of the Statement of Assurance for financial management processes.
• Drives remediation actions and reports progress to senior management.
• Provides technical assistance in developing procedural manuals and standard operating procedures.
• Trains team members on audit and remediation processes.
