Immigration and Customs Enforcement in the United States is seeking a Financial Program Specialist (GS-12) to manage financial data, optimize reporting through automated systems, and support ICE's financial operations across multiple locations including Washington, DC, Irving (TX), and Williston (VT).

The role focuses on enhancing processes, ensuring timely financial information, and contributing to audit readiness.

Qualifications

• Education for GS-11 includes Ph.D. or equivalent doctoral degree; or three full years of progressively higher-level graduate education leading to such degree; or LL.M if related.

Responsibilities

• Perform Financial Program Specialist duties and understand all subsidiary and financial databases/automated systems to generate reports using automated tools.
• Enhance business processes and systems to provide timely and reliable financial information to ICE customers and implement requirements across ICE.
• Take appropriate steps to achieve a clean audit opinion in the FY. Examine, verify and maintain financial accounting data, classify accounting transactions, and verify the accuracy and completeness of the accounting data.
