Job summary

TEEMA Solutions Group in Atlanta, GA is seeking a hands-on Financial Controller with CPA credentials and deep expertise in real estate development, property management, and HUD/LIHTC programs. You will lead the month‑end close, financial reporting, treasury, and internal controls, reporting directly to the CEO in a fast‑paced environment.

Work with Development, Construction, and Property Management teams to optimize cash flow, track job costs, and ensure GAAP compliance across our portfolio.

Qualifications

• Education: Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field.
• Licensure: Active Certified Public Accountant (CPA).
• Experience: Minimum of 10+ years of progressive accounting and finance experience, including month-end close and GAAP reporting.

Responsibilities

• Direct the monthly, quarterly, and year-end close processes to produce GAAP-compliant financial statements.
• Oversee treasury management, cash flow forecasting, and liquidity planning across lending institutions.
• Coordinate external audits, tax returns, and timely submissions of required schedules (e.g., REO, 1099).
• Develop and maintain financial dashboards, variance analyses, and operating budgets with leadership.
