Job summary

GS2 | B Corp™ based in Austin is seeking a Financial Controller to build the accounting infrastructure from the ground up and guide the function through its rapid scaling. You will own the full close process, monthly reporting, COA maintenance, and policy development in a lean, high-velocity environment.

The ideal candidate has 10+ years of progressive accounting experience in a public company, an active Texas CPA, and hands-on NetSuite expertise, with on-site leadership five days a week at the

Qualifications

• 10+ years in progressive accounting roles with public company experience.
• Active CPA license (TX) or reciprocity.
• Hands-on NetSuite configuration, optimization, and scaling.
• Strong knowledge of construction or heavy capital project accounting.
• Experience with SOX controls and PCAOB audits.

Responsibilities

• Own full accounting close, month-end reporting, and COA maintenance.
• Administer NetSuite to scale with project activity.
• Manage procurement controls, corporate expenses, and project costing.
• Liaise with external auditors and regulators for audits.
• Build and lead a high-performing team of staff accountants.
