Job summary

Ripple seeks a Financial Controller to lead financial reporting, general ledger accuracy, and governance across Ripple Treasury's entities and offshore holdings. You will collaborate with the CFO, Legal, and Tax to ensure precise accounting and intercompany eliminations in a fast-growing digital asset company.

Responsibilities include monthly close, intercompany coordination, and production of management reports, with a focus on scalable processes and automation where possible.

Qualifications

• CPA with 10+ years of progressive accounting in financial services or trading.
• Strong US GAAP technical skills: consolidation, intercompany, equity method, revenue recognition.
• Experience closing multi-entity structures including offshore entities.

Responsibilities

• Own month-/quarter-/year-end close for all in-scope entities with US GAAP statements.
• Manage intercompany transactions, eliminations, and sub-consolidations; support transfer pricing with Tax.
• Maintain books for offshore entities and coordinate with offshore counsel and agents; manage equity and funding positions.
• Apply ASC 820 and ASU 2023-08 for crypto asset accounting; reconcile on- and off-chain positions.
• Provide monthly management accounts, variance analysis, and board/investor packages; assist budgeting and forecasting.
• Maintain a strong control environment; be primary external audit contact; document accounting policies.
