Job summary

Firecrest Aerospace in Stevens Point, WI, is seeking an experienced Financial Controller to lead accounting, budgeting, and reporting. You will establish world-class financial controls, manage month-end close, and drive accuracy of financial statements for the facility, reporting to the CFO.

You will partner with operations to monitor costs, analyze profitability, and support capital projects while ensuring compliance with U.S. GAAP and ITAR/EAR requirements.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in accounting or finance required.
• CPA or CMA preferred.
• Strong knowledge of U.S. GAAP and internal controls.
• Experience with month-end closing, budgeting, forecasting, and financial analysis.
• Excellent communication with operations and executive leadership.

Responsibilities

• Oversee accounting activities including AP, AR, payroll, fixed assets, inventory, and GL.
• Ensure timely month-end and year-end closes under U.S. GAAP.
• Prepare monthly financial statements, management reports, and KPI dashboards.
• Lead annual budgeting process and variance analysis with department managers.
• Provide financial analyses for capital investments and pricing decisions.
