Job summary

Carollo Engineers, Inc. is seeking an experienced financial analyst to lead cost-of-service studies, economic analyses, and Excel-based financial modeling for water utilities. The role requires collaboration with project managers, mentoring junior staff, and developing client relationships to support qualifications and proposals.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, Business, Data Analytics, Mathematics, Engineering, or other applicable field of study.
• At least five (5) years of financial analysis and cost-of-service rate and fee design experience in the water, wastewater, and/or stormwater utility industry.
• Thorough knowledge of utility financial management, budgeting, cost of service, rate studies, and economic analyses.

Responsibilities

• Performing cost-of-service rate and fee studies, economic analyses, and other financial services, including development of Excel financial models.
• Support project managers and senior staff by managing project tasks and overseeing junior analysts, subcontractors, and administrative personnel.
• Preparing study memoranda, reports, and presentations summarizing study assumptions, analysis, findings, and recommendations.
• Developing and maintaining client relationships, preparing qualifications and proposal packages, participating in pursuit interviews, and representing Carollo in industry events.
• Completing quality control reviews for work performed under supervision.
• Limited overnight travel may be required for project or team meetings.
