Carollo Engineers, a premier water-focused engineering firm, seeks a Senior Financial Manager to lead FMG initiatives. You will shape 5- and 10-year plans, perform rate studies, and guide project teams and client relations across the utility sector.

The role requires deep expertise in utility finance, budgeting, and financial analyses, with a track record in mentoring staff and delivering strategic growth while maintaining high-quality services and adherence to schedules.

Qualifikationen

• Bachelor’s degree with strong analytical and quantitative skills; focus on economics, business, engineering or related field.
• Fifteen years of experience with seven in a supervisory role and a broad understanding of utility financial management and budgeting.
• Experience in rate studies, economic analyses, capital planning, and FMG services; ability to present complex concepts clearly.
• Strong work ethic, organizational skills, and ability to prioritize multiple tasks independently or in a team.
• Excellent written and verbal communication across all organizational levels; ability to mentor junior staff.
• Ability to manage a portfolio of projects within budget and schedule; experience in owner’s advisory services.
• Experience in training and mentoring staff and proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite.

Aufgaben

• As part of the FMG leadership team, focus on service, client, and revenue growth while building the FMG team and expertise.
• Help develop 5- and 10-year strategic business plans with the FMG leadership.
• Perform rate and fee studies, economic analyses, and other financial services, including owner’s advisory services.
• Oversee analysts, subcontractors and administrative staff delivering financial services work.
• Develop and maintain client relationships, prepare proposals, and represent Carollo at industry events.
• Provide quality control for work and contribute to the strategic direction of FMG and UAS.
• Mentor junior and mid-level staff and promote a team-oriented culture.
