Job summary

JP Morgan Natural Capital is seeking a Financial Analyst to join our team, supporting financial strategy, analysis, and reporting across operations in the United States, Chile, Australia, and New Zealand.

The role requires a finance-related bachelor’s degree (master’s preferred), 2+ years in financial analysis, strong Excel and data analytics skills, and a solid understanding of asset and wealth management principles. Treasury experience is a plus.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, or related field; Master’s preferred.
• 2+ years of experience in financial analysis, preferably within asset management, natural resources, or related sectors.
• Advanced proficiency in financial modeling, Excel, and data analytics.
• Strong understanding of asset and wealth management principles.
• Experience supporting treasury functions is a plus.
• Excellent communication and presentation skills.
• High level of integrity, professionalism, and attention to detail.

Responsibilities

• Conduct comprehensive financial analysis for timberland assets, including valuation, performance tracking, and scenario modeling.
• Prepare and present financial reports, forecasts, and recommendations to senior management.
• Support the Treasury Manager in liquidity management, cash flow forecasting, and capital allocation.
• Assist in budgeting, strategic planning, and risk assessment for global operations.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure accurate and timely financial data.
• Maintain compliance with internal controls, regulatory requirements, and best practices.
