Job summary

AEP Service Corporation is seeking a senior financial professional to prepare forecasts, perform variance analyses, and support regulatory filings. The role includes strategic evaluation of opportunities and developing pro forma data for rate cases.

You will guide operating companies in understanding financial results, coordinate with corporate finance, budgeting, accounting, and regulatory teams, and mentor junior staff. MBA/CPA or equivalent certifications are preferred.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Business, Accounting, Finance or Engineering required.
• 8+ years of work experience in the mentioned disciplines.
• MBA, CPA, CMA, CIA, PE, CFP or other professional certification preferred.

Responsibilities

• Prepare and review financial forecasts and variance analyses.
• Develop/manage staff where applicable; mentor departmental analysts.
• Identify rate relief opportunities and develop pro forma rate case data and testimony.
• Assist witness in testimony preparation and, when needed, testify in proceedings.
• Prepare reports for executive management and the Board of Directors.
