Job summary

LHH is seeking an experienced Senior Financial Analyst to deliver high-level financial analysis, forecasting, budgeting, and strategic insights. You will collaborate with cross-functional teams and senior leaders to evaluate performance, identify trends, risks, and opportunities, and support key business decisions.

Ideal candidates will have strong FP&A experience, advanced Excel, and proven ability to communicate complex finance information clearly to executives.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in finance, accounting, economics, business administration or related field.
• Strong experience in financial analysis, FP&A, budgeting and forecasting.
• Proven experience developing and maintaining financial models.
• Strong understanding of financial statements and variance analysis.
• Advanced Microsoft Excel skills including modeling, formulas, pivot tables, and data analysis.
• Experience presenting findings to senior leadership.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Ability to manage multiple priorities and work independently.

Responsibilities

• Lead financial planning, budgeting and forecasting activities.
• Analyse statements, performance, trends and metrics.
• Develop and maintain complex financial models.
• Perform variance analysis and explain differences vs budgets and forecasts.
• Prepare financial reports and presentations for senior management.
• Evaluate risks, opportunities, investments and strategic initiatives.
• Support due diligence for mergers and acquisitions.
• Partner with cross-functional teams to gather and analyse data.
• Provide guidance to junior analysts and team members.
• Improve financial policies, procedures and internal controls.
• Identify opportunities to improve profitability and efficiency.
• Monitor industry trends and best practices.
