Job summary

AEP Service Corporation is seeking a Senior Financial Analyst to lead the development of dynamic financial forecasts and ad hoc analyses for strategic opportunities. You will review variance reporting and assist SEC reporting, while mentoring staff and presenting to executive leadership.

The role requires deep cross-functional collaboration across corporate finance, accounting, and regulatory teams, with a focus on process improvements and cost/revenue optimization in energy assets.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree in Business, Accounting, Finance or Engineering required.
• MBA, CFA, CPA, CMA, CIA, PE, CFP or other professional certification preferred.
• Extensive coordination across corporate finance, financial planning & analysis, accounting/tax, operations.

Responsibilities

• Lead the preparation of dynamic financial forecasts and ad hoc analyses.
• Review variance reporting and support SEC reporting.
• Develop and mentor staff; provide executive-level reports and board materials.
• Evaluate strategic corporate opportunities including acquisitions/divestitures.
