Job summary

American Electric Power (AEP) is seeking a Financial Forecast Coordination Lead to oversee enterprise-wide forecasting and coordination across operating companies. This senior role will manage assumptions, risks and opportunities, and drive consistency in the consolidated forecast for senior management.

You will collaborate with corporate finance, FP&A, accounting, regulatory bodies, and business units to ensure accurate outlooks and effective decision support, while leading process improvements

Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree in Business, Accounting, Finance or Engineering required.
• 10+ years of work experience including managerial experience.

Responsibilities

• Lead the coordination and management of AEP's consolidated financial forecast across operating companies and business segments.
• Provide governance over the enterprise forecasting process with consistent assumptions and timelines.
• Prepare and present financial forecasts to executive management and the Board of Directors.
• Partner with corporate finance, FP&A, accounting, tax, and other functions to reflect financial developments in the outlook.
• Identify opportunities to enhance forecasting capabilities, including models, processes, and tools.
• Communicate forecast drivers and risks clearly to senior management.
