Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, Business Admin or related field.
• Typically requires 5 years of relevant experience; 3 years with a relevant master’s.
• Experience with budgeting, forecasting, variance analysis, financial modeling, reporting and management presentations.
• Advanced proficiency in Excel and PowerPoint.

Responsibilities

• Provide finance partnership for a complex set of R&D functions, programs and leadership.
• Manage annual planning, forecasting, monthly close, long-range planning, and reporting for R&D areas.
• Analyze operating expense, headcount, PO, accruals, capex; explain variances and identify risks/opportunities.
• Leverage AI and analytics tools to improve forecasting, automate processes and generate insights.
• Develop leadership-ready narratives translating R&D activity and capital timing into actionable messages.
• Coordinate capital planning, project analysis, equipment timing, depreciation timing, and savings timing.
• Identify cross-functional gaps and data quality issues; escalate with options when broader alignment is needed.
